The Wairarapa Orienteering Club, organiser of two very successful rogaines, has had to cancel plans to run another in May. The previous course planners from the small club based in Masterton were not available this year.
So perhaps areas with a bigger population might like to step into the gap (Auckland, hint, hint!) Remember that rogaines in NZ started off with 3 or 4 hours, they didn't even have control markers to start with and existed for many years on the question-and-answer system.
The vacant date (which HVOC had great difficulty manoeuvring its event around!)
is 18 May.
