Detailed Results
The
detailed results will enable analysis freaks to have a field day!
You'll notice some controls show a spurious date/time (back in 2005) and this
mucks up two splits of course. The problem was confined to controls 60, 71, 75,
90 and 108 although not all visits to those controls were affected.
Wallflower Control
No-one visited control #47 (east of the manned control on Mt Dagg).
On the other hand, 71 teams visited #55 (Donnelly Flat).
Lightweight Footwear!
Hear that one rogainer did the course in jandals. Solves the problem of grit in the shoes.
Faded Control or Brain Fade?
Hear that a participant, who first rogained in 1990, went out to collect controls a couple
of days after the event, and walked right past a control on the track!
