First Secondary School Rogaine in NZ

New Plymouth SS Rogaine 9 Mar 05; also Twilight Rogaines Jan-Mar

Egmont OC having attracted college teams to its afterwork rogaines is running a special Secondary School event. The events are run in urban New Plymouth, which is split by many bush-clad gullies running from the slopes of the mountain almost to the sea. Navigation involves an interesting mix of street running (but its not a regular grid pattern) and use of the bush tracks to locate controls in the gullies. The SS event will be on Wed 9 March.

The club is also continuing its afterwork rogaines, with a 6-event series which runs from late Jan to March. The maps are at 1:25,000 and the events run from 6-9pm. There are prizes based on the best 5 out of 6 results. Dates are:
