Rimutaka Forest Park chosen for December Rogaine

HVOC has chosen Rimutaka Forest Park as the venue for its 9 December rogaine. Not counting the "shoestring" rogaines last year, this will be HVOC's 10th rogaine, and a team of 6 has begun course planning for the event. It will be 12 (daylight) hours with a 6hr option.

Key people behind the event are Mike Sheridan and Dave King. Entry details will be published (at least) in "Punch", the magazine of the Wellington Orienteering Association, and on this website.

In preparation for the event, the afterwork "shoestring" rogaines pioneered by Mark Copeland, Sheridan, King and Tony Gazley last year are about to restart. The first will be a mini-mini-rogaine of just one hour on Tuesday 12 Sep, starting at 6pm at the Wellington Harrier clubrooms in Alexander Road, Mt Victoria.
