Australia is claiming a world record for the total number of people rogaining on one weekend: 1452.
The record was set on a weekend in June when, in addition to a 6-hour event in New South Wales (662), a total of 793 took part in Victoria's "Two by 6hr" event at Daylesford. It seems that this is a 6hr event which you can do either on the Saturday or the Sunday.
They propose to try and beat the record next year, by coordinating the various
state calendars, and by suggesting that other countries join in. The date
is 15/16 June, 2002. It would be good to take part in this, and maybe also to
challenge Australia on a population basis. Have you set a date for next year's
