While the World Champs Rogaine was taking place on the other side of the world, 69 teams were battling it out at Piha west of Auckland. There were roughly equal numbers in the 3hr and 6hr categories, won respectively by Allister Ackers/Richard Anderson, and Darren Ashmore/Neil Kerrison.
Full results, winners' route-choices and some great photos are on the Lactic Turkey website. The Lactic Turkey team is planning another rogaine on 12 October.
