Some little musings composed to take the mind off climbing hills...
Was a team made of Jamie and Neil,
They had nerves like proverbial steel,
But a strap on the pack
Broke, they had to turn back,
And they nearly missed out on the meal.
Not. They were back with 33 minutes to spare!
There was this great River Mohaka,
Which cut its way down through the papa,
Its sides were so high
That it made a man sigh,
And despair of e'en reaching the marker
We entered a Hawkes Bay rogaine,
By the end we were writhing in pain,
How steep were the tracks
And how heavy our packs,
Still we vowed we would come back again
