The first information bulletin about the World Champs is now available on the Ozzie website.
Though mainly administrative stuff which will be of greatest interest to the team manager, it also has details of the public events during the WOC week (17-24 Oct) and the schedule of maps available during the prior training week 11-16 Oct. Anyone can use the training maps, this is not restricted to national teams. There is also the NSW Champs on the weekend 9-10 Oct although that's a long way from Ballarat.
Squad members are working hard, depending on their background concentrating on orienteering or riding, and of course fitness. A number will be competing in the Australian MTBO Champs in Queensland after Easter: Meg Foulds, Christina Renhart, Dianne Michels, Marquita Gelderman, and non-squaddies Rob Garden, Jo Wilson and Joe Sherrif.
