Wellington MTBO Champs Entries Roll In
Maungakotukutuku, 19/20 June

Entries are rolling in for the Wellington MTBO Champs, on the first new MTBO area
since "Clusters Last Stand" in the Wairarapa. Steve Meeres has done the fieldwork
and Michael Wood the cartography. The first day will be a fixed-sequence event
with four course lengths; the second day a two-hour score (free order) event.
Last Saturday the valley was an absolute gem, and if you thought you knew the
tracks in there well I bet Steve has some surprises for you!
A suggestion for cooperation: Claude Dabaliz is looking to share transport
from Auckland, contact him at claude@COMPAC.CO.NZ.
And Claire Heppenstall is coming up from Christchurch again and is interested in either
sharing accommodation on the Kapiti Coast and rental car with other out-of-towners OR
offers from locals for either transport or accommodation by locals. Please contact
her at obore@paradise.net.nz, its
more fun in a group.
