Wellington MTB-Orienteering Championship 2002 Results

Clip cards have now been checked and those who didn't visit all the controls given the label "DNF"; and we revisited those scores too. There might still be the odd error which we'll be glad to correct, but we can now call these the checked results.

First the major spot prizes of Casio 50-memory watches went to Erika Boland-Bristow (who at 14yrs displayed a lot of guts to complete course 3 in Saturday) and Steve Meeres (who can now compare splits with Graeme Silcock who won a Casio last year!)

Remember the MAPsport Shop has them for sale, while current stocks last they're at $30 below RRP at $119.

2 hours, max score 660 Craig's controls (not in this order):
1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 times 10 is 60 points;
10, 11, 12 times 20 is 60 points;
19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 26 times 30 is 180 points;
29, 30 times 40 is 80 points; Total 380. Last year we had a similar points distribution, but you started near the middle of the map and conditions were much drier. Craig won then with a score of 550. The maximum in both cases was 660.
