Course Planner Dave King, based on a MTBO score event by Graeme Silcock. Time 2hr40, a little over 50% dark, weather clear and warm, max score 630, max elevation range 240m. Bikers didn't have the "A" controls, max score for them in 2hrs was 330 out of 540.

Winner's route: basically SW, called in at start/finish for food and light, then NE; 6, 1, along ridge above tunnel, 21, 20A, 5A, 4A, 20, 5, 4, 3, 11, 12, 10, 2, 19 on Climie road, quite slow on steep descent to Tanes Track in fading light, 10A (dark), S/F, 13, north along "railway", 23, 15, false try at turnoff to 24, 24, 8, 8A, turnoff to 17 very hard to see, 17, 26, 25, 22, 7, home. Interesting that Michael Wood who knows the area from making the map took the identical route as far as 10A! Earlier in the year Michael also rode the MTBO course, using a route similar to Bill's from 13 to the end.
